Job Description:

Location: Fort Shafter, HI

Are you ready to leverage your expertise in open-source & publicly available information to deliver innovative solutions to address some of the United States’ most complex national security challenges? Imagine yourself providing analysis, integration, and training, to give USARPAC and its partners an advantage over near-peer competitors in the USINDOPACOM AOR. Parsons is a hiring a counter-malign influence (CMI) analyst to work closely with our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) client in Honolulu, HI.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a senior-level Parsons analyst supporting USARPAC’s counter-malign influence (CMI) portfolio with deep familiarity of the INDOPACOM AOR and associated near-peer competitors

  • Provide advice and expertise for the USARPAC mission partner regarding prospective new intelligence target focus areas, innovative processes, and/or approaches to countering malign influence threats

  • Support development of new USARPAC initiatives with respect to collection and analysis, including but not limited to information operations campaigns, data science and big data integration, and counter threat finance

  • Conduct analysis and integrate with other data sources, including traditional intelligence sources to provide targeting solutions in the competition space to inform and expedites senior leader decision-making

  • Leverage data to identify malign influence actors and activities and uncover methods of disrupting their operating spaces and changing behavior at the organizational and individual levels

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years’ relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years with a Master’s (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 10+ years’ experience working in the INDOPACIFIC region

  • Familiarity with the intelligence community and prior experience building broad-based teams/coalitions

  • Demonstrated relevant subject matter expertise in intelligence analysis, network analysis, and/or geospatial analysis

  • Proven ability to design and implement defense and interagency plans, doctrine, strategies, and operations

  • Extensive knowledge of political, military, economic, academic, transnational criminal, information / media, and cultural aspects of foreign malign influence

  • Valid US Passport

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated communications skills, including the ability to brief leadership up to and including the SES/GO-FO levels

  • Previous exposure to Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Access Programs (SAP)

  • Previous deployment experience in the USINDOPACOM AOR

  • US Army MILDEC and/or MISO training

  • Prior Support to DOD, law enforcement, and/or regulatory agencies supporting dynamic real-world missions

  • Prior experience working in cross-functional teams across multiple locations

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and writing skills, including the ability to draft reports with limited editorial support

  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as: Analyst Notebook, ArcGIS, record message traffic, interagency tools, commercial databases, information tools, etc.

Salary Range:

$56.25 - $109.57
