Salary:$38-41.20/ hour
Schedule:9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday with evening and weekend availability as needed
Location:Central Islip, NY
Reports to:Program Director
What drives the core purpose of this job:
The Clinical Director is responsible for providing evidenced-based and trauma informed family-centered mental health services to pregnant and parenting people and their family members impacted by Opioid Use Disorders.
What are the key responsibilities:
Conduct assessment interviews and treatment plans for referrals to the program.
Oversee Enhanced LIPI Program Staff.
Prepare written reports in a timely manner regarding clients’ status with the program, treatment plan and progress.
Develop and review treatment plans for clients accepted into the program.
Investigate and arrange supportive services for clients by establishing relationships and linkages with community-based agencies and treatment programs.
Maintain and complete client records.
Provide crisis intervention when needed.
Conduct individual and family therapy sessions.
Provide clinical support and in-service trainings to program staff and referral agencies.
Attend stakeholder events/workshops and represent the agency at meetings when requested.
What key knowledge, skills, and abilities are required to excel in this role:
LMHC or LCSW required.
Must have knowledge of treatment and mental health programs.
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience working with individuals in a therapeutic setting.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Must be proficient in office and computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar program, and e-mail and/or database software skills necessary to perform job responsibilities.
Access to motor vehicle and NYS driver's license.
