Job Overview & Responsibilities
As a Senior Program Control Analyst 5 at ULA, you will play a key role in supporting the management and execution of programs and projects, ensuring efficient cost control, schedule management, and risk mitigation. Your contributions will be vital to the success of the Integrated Program Team and overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost and Schedule Control Management: Set up, monitor, and maintain cost and schedule control systems for programs, projects, and contracts, ensuring compliance with government guidelines and contractual parameters.
- Budget and Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of budgets, schedules, and financial analyses, supporting effective tracking and management of project costs and performance.
- Program Planning and Risk Assessment: Support the preparation of program plans, perform scheduled risk assessments, variance analysis, and address issues such as negative float, schedule margin, and risk integration.
- Funding and Contractual Changes: Ensure adequate funding for programs/projects and incorporate changes from contracts into control systems, ensuring alignment with updated financial and scheduling requirements.
- Program Support and Decision-Making: Contribute to both tactical and strategic aspects of program management, collaborating with the Program Management Team on performance management and informed decision-making.
- Training and Development: Provide advanced training to cost control analysts and schedulers, supporting their professional growth and enhancing team performance.
Required Education Bachelor
Required Years of Experience Minimum of 8 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques, as well as cost management, planning, and scheduling.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with program and finance leaders, as well as program customers, to satisfy program requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Critical Path Analysis.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to leadership and key decision-makers.
- Ability to lead team accountability on scheduling deliverables.
- Skilled in managing schedule data for complex programs.
- Expertise in recommending schedule recovery strategies through scenario analysis and trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to develop an initial Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) from the ground up through in-depth integration and analysis.
- Strong understanding of process flows from engineering through production to the final product.
- Proficient in Deltek OPP and Cobra.
- Active knowledge of SharePoint.
- Understanding and application of EVMS/DCMA 14-point techniques.
Summary Salary Range (f rULA - Denveronly): $131,918.00 - $206,170.00
