We\'re seeking a fully skilled CNC Lathe Machinist who\'s ready to Lead our team on 2nd shift. Your abilities will be put to expansive use while also guiding and leading our team of Lathe Machinists. We have a modern, dynamic environment with a high mix of orders supporting a variety of high-impact industries; Military/Defense, Energy, Aviation, Railroad, Medical, Mining and many more. Responsibilities include: Set up, Program and Run CNC Lathes Lead and mentor a team of CNC Lathe Machinists Inspect your own parts, maintain accurate inspection documentation using precision measuring instruments Perform multiple short run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool changes Maintain a safe working environment Carlson Tool & Manufacturing Corp. is an ISO certified and ITAR registered manufacturing company serving customers with engineering, tooling, drilling, and machining services. Proficient programming skills using Mazatrol is required. Knowledge of Mastercam programming is a plus. Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings. Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
