JOB GOAL:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, provides support and assistance to Finance and Foundation staff members. This position requires independent judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, good computer skills, as well as access to highly confidential information.
The typical work schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5pm.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be the initial point of contact and coverage for the departments’ office and staff
Manage Finance and Foundation supply inventory and purchasing
Produce, edit and compile reports, correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
Coordinate the set-up and preparation of documents and materials for Foundation Board and Committee meetings while attending and taking meeting minutes.
Assist others in the Finance and Foundation Office as assigned
Perform other related duties as assigned
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Be able and willing to represent the College in the most positive manner with faculty/staff; prospective, former and current students, donors and the community we serve
Be able and willing to be the initial contact via telephone and in-person
Have a thorough knowledge of general office practices and procedures including telephone, good business English, ability to accurately type at an acceptable level
Experience and comfort with commonly used office software and possess appropriate computer skills
Possess good time management and organizational skills

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:
Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have at least one year experience using common office productivity software
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must have a valid Driver’s license and own transportation.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
- Participation in educational seminars and workshops related to fundraising and related professional areas.
