Are you a talented maintenance technician seeking an exciting career move with a top-tier manufacturer? Randstad, a leading staffing agency specializing in direct placement, is currently recruiting for a 1st or 3rd shift maintenance technician position with one of our esteemed clients in Cedar Hill, TX.
salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 3 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Perform a diverse range of electrical installations and maintenance on plant electrical systems and equipment to ensure continuous power and lighting.
Conduct repairs on buildings including electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery and equipment within the facility.
Identify and resolve electrical or electronic issues, replacing equipment as necessary.
Coordinate the operation and installation of computer network "download" systems to machine controllers.
Obtain a forklift operator's license and operate forklifts safely.
Undertake mechanical tasks as assigned and as time permits.
Input equipment records, data, and notes into the computerized maintenance management system.
Maintain company-provided tools and ensure personal tools are in proper working condition.
Fabricate, maintain, join, and cut ferrous and nonferrous metal parts and structures using various techniques. Perform welding and cutting using electric arc, oxyacetylene, or other methods in different positions.
Maintain a clean work space and adhere to good housekeeping practices.
Willingly perform additional duties as assigned.
