Iron County Landfill Scale Operator / Technician 1 in CEDAR CITY, Utah
Applications being accepted for Full-Time Employment as a Landfill Scale Operator / Technician 1 at the Iron County Landfill.
Position requires performance of a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work relating to the daily operation of the Iron County Solid Waste Landfill, assigned equipment, and other department facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED, and two (2) years experience as a commercial driver and/or heavy equipment operator OR an equivalent combination of experience is required. Applicants must possess a valid Utah Driver's License upon hire, have an acceptable driving record, and be able to perform heavy lifting up to 150 lbs. Must have the ability to meet and deal with the public in a positive manner and complete daily paperwork requirements. Knowledge of computer entry is required.
CDL is preferred, but not required.
