Communities Project Program Coordinator
This Program Coordinator provides support for community-based programs with a focus on grants, contracts, and population health programs in rural and underserved parts of the state. Projects currently focus on network development activities with Rural Health Clinics (RHCs). This position will assist leadership in the day-to-day activities of collaborating with multiple partners across the state to conduct a needs assessment and develop the foundations of a support organization. Assigned projects will depend on current grants and contracts. The position's primary work location is Cedar City, Utah.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with strategic planning and work plan development and with the managing of program work plans and related budgets.
• Assist in carrying out long and short-range program objectives and activities.
• Assist with data collection, and program assessment, including tracking and analysis methods used to measure outcomes and outputs of programs.
• Assist in planning and carrying out meetings both virtually and in person.
• Managing relationships between the Utah Center for Rural Health and community partners to facilitate partnerships on activities and ensure thorough reporting of network- building efforts.
• Assist in developing operations models and infrastructure for a network of Rural Health Clinics.
• Participate with Utah Center for Rural Health staff in staff-building activities and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including possible work on other projects.
• Some travel for training and conferences is expected both within the state of Utah and possibly out of state (domestic).
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in a related field required.
• Masters Degree in a related field preferred.
