Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Manager you will lead a project team in supporting solutions according to project charter or contract for Workday Innovation engagements. A successful Project Manager is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Support Agile and/or Large-Scale Workday Initiatives

  • Track large Workday initiatives to ensure timely resolution; may run ongoing weekly touch points between business leads, Workday leads and IT leads

  • Gather requirements for Workday modules and enterprise tools.

  • Collaborate on product backlog priorities and manage JIRA.

  • Support technical requirement clarity and finalize acceptance criteria.

  • Oversee UAT to ensure requirements are met.

  • Execute communications and training for HR/Finance Workday.

  • Develop and implement communication, training, and change management plans.

  • Proactively provide input to improve the change management strategy that will ensure effective and efficient communications based on audience/objectives

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Minimum 2 years in training, communications or change management role

  • Workday experience preferred

  • Strong Agile and traditional project skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills, and communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status, and results clearly and effectively

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR/Finance information system management
