Douglas County Government Assistant Director Public Works Engineering in Castle Rock, Colorado

OVERVIEW: This is highly responsible, professional managerial work. Works closely with the Director in the direction of a multidivisional engineering organization, which entails planning, design and construction of engineering projects. The incumbent collaborates with Directors, Assistant Directors, other Division Managers, and Section Managers on organizational and managerial initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in civil engineering or closely related field. A minimum of ten (10) years of related experience including four (4) years of managerial experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:

Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Colorado State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record is required at time of hire and periodically throughout.
