Oracle Associate Member of Technical Staff in CASABLANCA, Morocco

Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Member of Technical Staff in Oracle Linux Operating Systems and Virtualization Engineering Org, to work within the Oracle Linux team and with Oracle Cloud teams on quality engineering tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Review test requirements, create test plan, test case development, test execution, triage and debug, etc.

  • Develop and maintain test automation framework within cloud-based infrastructure services

  • New technology R&D to provide full stack validations for new hardware/software platform and new technology rollout to Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Validating and verifying Oracle Linux and virtualization ( QEMU/KVM ) functionality, performing customers bug verification and hardware compatibility research, test tool development and maintenance.

  • Develop proof of concept with various emerging technologies, do R&D of the storage/network platform solution development and integration within cloud environment.

Required Skills:

  • Good knowledge of cloud computing.

  • QA Experience is preferred.

  • Good knowledge of Linux operating system internals.

  • Hands-on experience in Hypervisors, such as Qemu/KVM, Hyper-V, etc is preferred.

  • Skillful with Python and Bash languages.

  • Knowledge of server products, including Intel & AMD X86 servers etc.

  • Knowledge of Windows platform in Cloud deployment, understanding Qemu/KVM VirtIO drivers.

  • Knowledge of development, testing, and deployment of Cloud-based solutions such as Oracle OCI, AWS, Azure, Vmware, etc.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
