MTZ VACUUM SERVICE LLC Diesel Mechanic in CARRIZO SPRINGS, Texas
NOW HIRING Diesel Mechanic!!!
Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10 to 12 hours a day; off Sunday's.
Responsibilities: Diagnosis, repair, service and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks used in oilfield operations, often working on location at oil rigs or well sites, performing maintenance and repairs on large diesel engines, transmissions, and
other components of the trucks used across the oilfield.
- Inspect diesel engine, equipment hydraulics and electrical systems to determine needs for repair or replacement of parts.
- Troubleshoots malfunctions in the equipment and repair.
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure the unit is safe to operate.
- Diagnose damaged units/parts and replace parts that cannot be fixed properly.
- Lubricate, clean, and inspect all moving parts on equipment/trucks.
- Perform other duties that are assigned.'
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience as a mechanic required but will consider recent diesel mechanic graduates. Valid Texas Driver's License required.......as will drive to location/well site as needed to complete repair/service. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Experience in preventative maintenance of diesel engines Experience with engine, transmission, and differential repairs General knowledge of air brake systems and repair Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. Company provides tools to use at the shop.
Employer will conduct drug screen, breathalyzer testing, background and MVR check.......employer conducts random drug and alcohol screenings during employment.No criminal record accepted.3 months probation period
