Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Carnegie, Pennsylvania

Description We are on the lookout for an Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. As an integral part of our team, the Accounting Clerk will handle a range of tasks, including payroll, accounts payable, invoicing, and data entry, with a primary focus on tax reporting. This role provides a contract to permanent employment opportunity and offers an on-site working environment with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll activities to ensure timely and accurate payment

• Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded

• Take charge of the invoicing process, verifying details and resolving discrepancies as needed

• Carry out efficient and accurate data entry tasks

• Conduct tax reporting activities in compliance with regulations

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline processes and improve productivity

• Use ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll and other financial services

• Implement Ceridian and Dayforce for efficient workforce management

• Leverage About Time for effective project management

• Perform various accounting functions to support the financial health of the organization

• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance and accuracy

• Manage benefit functions to ensure employees' benefits are properly administered

• Specialize in construction accounting, maintaining financial records and reports specific to the construction industry. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a must.

• Knowledge of Ceridian software is expected.

• Ability to use Dayforce is necessary.

• Proficiency in About Time software is desirable.

• Mastery of Accounting Functions is required.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Auditing skills are essential.

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is important.

• Proficiency in Data Entry is needed.

• Experience with Payroll management is a must.

• Knowledge of Construction Accounting is desirable.
