Sartorius Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer (x|f|m) - Hybrid in Campus Goettingen, Germany
We are looking for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer (x|f|m) for the Manufacturing IT department within Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge in the installation, support and maintenance of MES applications.
The team consists of nine employees and is looking forward to shaping the future with you. The job is full-time and can be done remotely on a daily basis as well as on-site at the campus in Göttingen or at our location in Berlin.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets, carrying out troubleshooting and forwarding unresolvable incidents to the relevant department
You investigate problems and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or clarification
You will also provide support outside of regular business hours, if necessary, to resolve system problems
You check and carry out disaster recovery and continuity measures
You will be responsible for improving and documenting technical processes in connection with application support
You will work across departments on change requests/extensions and prioritize issues
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration and administration of application servers
You will ensure regular improvements to application stability, availability and performance in coordination with internal stakeholders
Supporting global roll-out activities and conducting internal training on application functionality and usage rounds off your responsibilities
What will convince us
You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field of study, preferably with appropriate further training and proven experience in a comparable role
We require knowledge of Windows-based operating systems
You have already worked with Siemens Opcenter , PAS-X or another Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, etc. and relational databases (MSSQL) is desirable
You are experienced in coordinating tasks between teams, as well as documenting and recording tasks, processes and system management tasks
You are able to multi-task, prioritize and adapt in stressful situations
Fluency in English completes your profile, German is a plus
