DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Corrections Food Service Supervisor, you will perform supervisory work over a large-scale food preparation and food serving area in a correctional institution. You will monitor, coordinate, inspect, and evaluate the work performed in preparation, production, serving, baking, meat cutting, and sanitation. This will include supervising food service personnel and maintaining order and discipline among inmate workers. Additionally, you will establish work procedures, schedule work and allocate staff, and maintain records and reports relating to recipes, orders, and inventory.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hour work week. Work hours are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with rotating days off. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $48,425.00 (before taxes). This position is eligible for full benefits at age 50 or 55. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a Corrections Food Service Instructor; or Three years of experience in food preparation, production, or service of a variety of complete meal menus in an institutional food service operation, food catering service, restaurant, or in a similar large-scale food production operation, which included one year of lead work experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training, which included one year of lead work experience. Additional Requirements:

Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. How to Apply:
