The Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden Center for Excellence in Inter-professional Practice, Education, and Innovation (CEIPEI) provides opportunities for active learning, promotes interprofessional collaboration, and stimulates innovation in nursing education and practice. The CEIPEI is accredited by the. The Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP), a certificate within the School of Nursing's graduate program, is currently the only accredited graduate level WOC program in the United States. Offered in both online and on-campus formats, the WOCNEP recruits students from across the nation. Our MSN in School Health is the first School Nurse Certificate Program based upon the National Association of School Nurses' (NASN) Framework for the 21stCentury School Nursing Practice.

Rutgers University will hire and manage 3 instructors (one each in the areas of community-based nutrition education, exercise and physical activity, and mental health wellness) to deliver community-based instruction for 14 weeks in the topical area of their expertise. These instructors will lead a total of 60 HealthyWE Corps participants through twelve weeks of lessons and activities focused on these areas. Instructors will develop these lessons and activities based on their expertise in these areas. Activities will be designed to increase HealthyWE Corps participants capacity to engage other community members in health promotion activities. After instruction in each topic area, Healthy WE Corps participants will plan and engage in a public service or health promotion and outreach activity that promotes that topic area to a broader community audience. These contracted positions require a level of education and experience that would be appropriate to deliver health education materials to an adult audience. Instructors may need to be available nights or weekends to deliver the program to participants.

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Also requires a minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in an administrative and/or supervisory function, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy.

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience in the discipline. A master's degree in a specialized discipline may be required, particularly in research, project management or managerial positions. Also requires a minimum of five years experience and/or increasing functional responsibility in a leadership/managerial role. With a master's degree requirement, a minimum of three years of related experience is acceptable. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
