Job Description:

Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Technologies Company, is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team located in Camden, AR.

The Logistics Manager will manage experienced professionals, lower level supervisors, or managers. Often leads one or more teams or a department. Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts. This position is responsible in providing strategic direction to the Camden logistics site in support of program management requirements and production operations to provide services for:

• Receiving

• Warehousing

• Inventory management

• Shipping

• Transportation

• Energetic (Explosive) Material Management

• Chemical Material Management; including temperature senitive & chemicals of interest (COI)

  Essential Functions:

• Provide technical and administrative management to the Camden Logistics Team.

• Ensure standard work is applied through entire Enterprise Logistics organization.

• Schedule and utilize employees, material and facilities to ensure that schedules and goals are met.

• Establish and maintain applicable records and reports monitoring internal operating controls.

• Provide training in Enterprise Logistics processes techniques, policies and procedures and/or safety and environmental procedures.

• Provide direction to employees as guided by established policies and procedures. Interpret and execute policies that affect supervised employees.

• Prepare, Analyze and report Enterprise Logistics Performance Metrics for Enterprise, BU, Program and site.

• Attend appropriate reviews.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related Logistics Manager experience.

• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related Logistics Manager experience.

• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related Logistics Manager experience.

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Background/experience in Logistics, Enterprise Logistics/Systems.

• Enterprise (multiple site) Leadership experience

• Enterprise-level Process Improvement Initiative leadership/facilitation

• Strategic Focus

• Possess proven leadership capabilities including knowledge and experience that has been proven on major initiatives.
