Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for per diem weekend LVN positions with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.

The goal of this new program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.

The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency as quickly as possible.

Services are provided to clients who are adult inmates at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, California.

As an LVN with Liberty, you enjoy an array of responsibilities, including:

  • Providing vocational nursing services to clients one-to-one and in-person

  • Collaborating with Psychiatrists

  • Administering medications to patients

  • Providing health education to clients

  • Documenting health status and treatment progress

  • Consulting with clinicians and participating in clinical team meetings

  • Collaborating with security staff

  • Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services

This position will require you to work onsite at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, California.

You will be required to work one weekend each month - Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Additional shifts and work opportunities will likely be available.

As a new employee in this role you can expect starting pay between $30.00 and $36.00 per hour (depending on qualifications).

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally in California as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and comfortable working autonomously.

You should be willing and able to commit to working one weekend each month.
