Holly Springs School District Secondary School Teacher (Math) in Byhalia, Mississippi
Job duties: High School Math teacher responsible to provide a rigorous high-quality education in a challenging range of 9 to 12th Grade classroom conditions with students from diverse ethnic,financial, and academic backgrounds. Teach courses pertaining to High School mathematical concepts, statistics, and actuarial science and to the application of original and standardized mathematical techniques in solving specific problems and situations. Compile, administer, and grade secondary school examinations. Prepare and deliver lectures to 9-12th grade students on topics such as linear algebra, differential equations, and discrete mathematics. Teach AP classes, Calculus, AP Calculus, challenging content to motivate students, and administer AP Examinations. Evaluate 9-12th grade students' class work, assignments, and papers. Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and handouts. Use computer literacy skills, different software, specialized equipment with synthesized speech, and interactive educational software programs. Integrates technology into the classroom as an instructional tool and for personal productivity. May require preparing students for college-level studies with the programs and services such as SAT/ ACT. Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students.
Education: Bachelor's degree (Or) Foreign Equivalent in Mathematics / Education.
Experience: 24 Months
License: Applicant must have a State of Mississippi teaching certificate
Salary: $45,080/ Year. plus, Normal fringe benefits.
