The Cigna Group Senior Pharmacy Technician Representative Compounding in Byfield, Massachusetts

As a Senior Compounding Pharmacy Technician , you will be working on a specialized team focused on high touch programs to assist our patients. This role is very detail oriented and you’ll spend the majority of your day working in our compounding suite compounding sterile and non-sterile medication, completing daily documentation as required per USP regulations, maintaining the compounding suite, entering formulas in the compounding software, and processing prescription orders.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday - 9 AM to 5:30 PM

A little more about the day-to-day:

  • Compound sterile and nonsterile medication orders

  • Clean and maintain compounding suite equipment and facilities

  • Perform environmental monitoring of compounding suite

  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of chemicals and finished products

  • Evaluate raw material and compounded products inventory

What you need to do the job:

  • High School Diploma, or GED

  • A PTCB in Sterile Compounding Preparation Certification is preferred

  • Pharmacy technician experience within compounding

  • MA State Pharmacy Technician License required; National technician certification preferred

  • Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills

  • Strong math skills related to prescription calculations

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and quality

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
