Come join a new & collaborative \"Team\" at Bourne Manor. Experience in \"maintenance\" required. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe & efficient manner in accordance with current Federal, State & local standards, guidelines, & regulations, our established policies & procedures, & as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed. Perform routine maintenance & repair on the facility & equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures. Clean windows & screens as directed. Replace burned out lights bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., & perform cleaning duties in very high places. Service heating & cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, & in compliance with established policies & procedures. Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed. Maintain general plant & facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean & orderly environment. Maintain an atmosphere of positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility. Assure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary. Assist other in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed or requested. Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, &/or administrator.
