Description We are seeking a Patient Account Representative to join our team in Burlington, North Carolina. As a Patient Account Representative, your role will involve processing healthcare-related paperwork, maintaining patient records, and addressing patient inquiries. This position is a short-term contract employment opportunity within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process patient credit applications and other related documents accurately.

• Keep detailed and accurate patient credit records.

• Address patient inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.

• Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate actions as needed.

• Use Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), and EHR SYSTEM efficiently for patient account management.

• Become familiar with and use Epic Software in handling patient information.

• Carry out appeals related to patient accounts and healthcare services.

• Manage benefit functions, ensuring all patient benefits are correctly applied.

• Oversee billing functions, ensuring accurate and timely billing processes.

• Handle claim administration related to patient accounts.

• Participate in clinical trial operations and manage related patient account activities. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts software

• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies

• Knowledge of Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)

• Experience with EHR SYSTEM

• Proficient in using Epic Software

• Ability to handle appeals effectively

• Understanding of benefit functions

• Experience in billing functions

• Knowledge of claim administration

• Experience in clinical trial operations
