Nature's Way Inc. Groundskeeping Helper in Burlington, Kentucky

Nature’s Way Inc. seeks 10 temp FT Groundskeeping Helpers from 10/1/2024 to 11/30/24. Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, mulching, weeding, raking, gardening, edging, planting, leaf removal; assisting with installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, to include backfilling soil with hand shovels, grading; installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units, installing rock gardens, decorating garden with stones, debris cleanup as part of installation or service process. Assist supervisor as needed. Must exercise independent judgment; may be asked to demonstrate tasks to other employees but position does not include supervision of other workers. All tools will be provided. Be able to lift 50 lbs. Worksite 1412 Production Dr., Burlington KY 41005 and multiple worksites in Campbell, Kenton, Owen and Boone counties. $16.69/hr Sun-Sat; 40 hrs/wk. Shifts 6am-9pm. OT may be available at $25.04/hr. Employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
