The Ad Sales Center of Excellence department is a fast-paced, dynamic environment made up of two subgroups that collectively lead the billing, revenue and accounting needs of The Walt Disney Company’s advertising sales.

The Programmatic/Cross-Sell Billing Team is seeking a Senior Accounting Billing Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to our Ad Sales Center of Excellence Team. As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for the preparation, distribution, and reconciliation of all programmatic and cross-sell invoices. You will work closely with Sales Planning and Ad Operations to support a robust and growing Ad Sales team. The right person for this role is self-starter, detail oriented, proactive, and a great communicator with a think-outside the box mentality to adapt to the ever-changing world of programmatic and cross-sell.

What You Will Do

  • Experience with digital advertising sales billing process and systems from inception and planning to billing and revenue.

  • Lead the process around tracking and timely resolution of ad sales billing and billing revisions.

  • Work closely with other team members on the monthly billing for Disney Advertising Sales (including Hulu, ESPN, ABC, Disney+, etc).

  • Build relationships across multiple teams.

  • Partner with Collections, Credit, Cash Application, Sales Planning and Ad Operations to provide strong customer service to Sales and the Customer.

  • Collaborate with Collections, Sales Planning and Ad Operations teams to troubleshoot complex discrepant campaign planning and trafficking while adjusting invoices requiring revisions timely and accurately.

  • Assist with developing efficiencies and standardization of processes and testing new system enhancements.

  • Provide support and guidance to other staff members on daily tasks

  • Understanding the revenue recognition implications for ad sales billing and order delivery on financial reporting.

  • Assist management with ad hoc projects and requests as needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (Pivot tables & Formulas)

  • Proactive with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Work extended hours during critical periods as needed

  • Ability to prioritize workload and call out conflicting priorities

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude to fit our culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Business, Accounting or Finance related field

  • Industry experience in digital advertising, media and/or entertainment ideal

  • Experience using Operative.One a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred

The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $57,600 to $70,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
