Ziegler CAT Customer Support Representative - Mining in Buhl, Minnesota
Ziegler CAT has an opening for a full-time, Customer Support Representative for the Mining division. The Customer Support Representative- Mining is responsible for promoting and selling Caterpillar parts and Ziegler's service capabilities to existing mining customers, while generating leads to sell to new customers. In addition, the Mining CSR is responsible for partnering with the internal Field Service Dispatchers and Shop Supervisors to coordinator customer repair work while frequently communicating parts availability and equipment repair status with customers. Responsibilities: Maintains customer records and tracks opportunities in the customer relationship management software, Sales Link, to include sales leads, sales and lost sales Identifies prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences Sells the value of Caterpillar parts and Ziegler's service capabilities through cost analysis, expertise, and availability Prepares accurate and timely quotes for customers on parts and repair work to be accomplished in Ziegler's shop or in the field Engages in the promotion and advancement of Ziegler's Mining GET program Works with the mines to forecast planned maintenance of major components Evaluates major component exchange inventory program to ensure that the appropriate components are available Manages the Ziegler exchange undercarriage program Works with the Ziegler mine managers to identify opportunities and help manage mine equipment fleets Resolves customer issues both within and out of the direct sales process Conducts product training for customers and branch employees as necessary Clean driving record Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one within a defined period of tim Obtain a DOT medical certification card Pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen & physical Able to operate equipment safely Qualifications: 2-year degree required; 4 year degree is preferred 2+ years of related sales experience preferred Must be available during off hours and weekends to take calls from customers to handle emergency situations Strong mechanical aptitude required Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Sense of urgency Strong customer service skills Results-oriented and self-starter Must have and maintain a clean driving record Personal Attributes: Customer Focus, Achievement Orientation, Problem Solving, Planning and Organization and Teamwork Travel: Up to 10% travel Minimum Physical Requirements: Push/pull up to 10 lbs Lift up to 30 lbs Carry up to 50 lbs Lift bulky objects Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching. Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
