This role of Wealth Personal Banking (WPB) Operations Business Support Specialist support the US Head of WPB Operations and the US Head of Banking and Channel Services in driving both cost reduction and risk remediation initiatives to help drive our strategic goals. Is responsible for driving multiple large and small scale projects to strengthen the US Operations overall control environment. This role requires strong collaboration with key business stakeholders to support US WPB Business and other functions. The Role is also responsible for maintaining exceptional customer service standards, and other related business management & project duties as assigned.

As our Wealth Personal Banking Operations Business Support Specialist you will:

  • Drive strategic initiatives within WPB Operations to support US Operations

  • Drive actions on improving our control environment

  • Manage incidents and issues arising in WPB Operations

  • Business process improvements and collaboration

  • Future state process improvements across WPB Operations

  • Provide oversight to processes and procedures to ensure compliance with many key state and government regulations

  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of multiple business processes across WPB Operations

  • Effective collaboration with key stakeholders and WPB Operations teammates through strong communication to drive process improvements and end to end business processes

  • Work closely with 2nd line of defense colleagues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $122,000.00 and $183,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Qualifications

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Strong knowledge of US Operations and end to end business processes

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and presentation writing skills

  • Planning, project leadership, and teamwork skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
