About the Role:
As an LPN at Neighborhood, you’ll use your training, organizational skills, attention to detail, and influencing skills as you perform nursing tasks and help ensure an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include:
Nursing tasks within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of supportive and restorative care under direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed provider
Administer medications and provide treatments prescribed by providers
Perform immunizations and injections
Assist in facilitating patient flow for the provider to ensure a seamless and efficient patient flow
Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
Perform all CLIA waiver tests and ensures all tests are up to date
Demonstrate proper placement and documentation of PPD
Comply patient information in the absence of an RN and consult with medical provider
You will be primarily based at our Northwest location, 155 Lawn Ave. in Buffalo, and will travel to other Neighborhood sites in Western New York as needed.

Education and Skills to be an LPN:
Graduated from an accredited one or two year nursing school
Current NYS License as a Practical Nurse
Current CPR certification
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Superb organizational skills
Strong influencing skills
Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative
Results-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasks
Solutions-driven with a systems orientation
Highly responsive, timely, accurate and thorough in follow-up and follow-through
What We Offer:
Compensation: $26.75 an hour based on a full-time, 40 hour work week
Plus, this position offers a sign-on bonus for external hires, paid in installments throughout the employee's successful first year of employment.
