Citigroup Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:

  • Support End User Computing risk reduction efforts by automating production processes for regulatory returns and monitoring reports

  • Report production processes including controls such as datareconciliations, adjustments & variance analysis

  • Liaison with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to investigate issues

  • Support to Country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. analysis, regulatory inquiries)

  • Maintain the reporting procedures and relevant process notes

  • Participation in projects to implement any new or changing regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting

  • Working knowledge of related financial regulations (for instance CRD, CRR2) is an advantage

  • Good understanding of Financial Markets and Products

  • MS Office knowledge is needed, affinity for other technologies (KNIME, Python etc.) is highly desired

  • Consistently demonstrates curiosity, accuracy and enjoy to investigate and solve problems
