Philips Demand Planner in Budapest, Hungary

You are responsible for

  • Creating an aligned short-term plan for order intake, demand, sales, and inventory by using and improving the baseline forecast with input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Finance, and adjacent functions. You will be responsible for submitting the forecast in our planning tool.

  • Supporting the zone supply chain business partner in preparing, planning, communicating, and revising forecasts for the monthly pre-Sales and Sales review meetings and weekly update calls.

  • Reviewing and analyzing forecast accuracy results and continuously working to improve forecast reliability.

  • Collaborating with relevant functions to ensure that customer orders are booked with requested delivery dates that align with supply chain capabilities.

  • Identifying risks and opportunities impacting the short-term revenue outlook and working with relevant functions on gap-closing activities.

  • Working with relevant functions to control inventory inflow and outflow.

  • Monitoring KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Commercial Inventory, On Time In Full, and Revenue.

You are part of

Health Systems Europe Regional organization. You will report to the HS Planning Leader for the European region.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Demand Planning, S&OP, Supply Chain Management).

  • Over 5 years of working experience in a relevant field.

  • Results-oriented: taking personal accountability to deliver results.

  • Excellent MS Excel skills and general IT application proficiency.

  • Ability to work as part of a team towards a common goal, encouraging diversity.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Skills in collaborating with and working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages is beneficial.

  • Acting as a role model for Philips Behaviors: customers first, patient safety, quality and integrity always, team up to win, take ownership to deliver fast, eager to improve and inspire.

  • Experience in the Health Systems industry is a plus.
