Citigroup Corporate Treasury - Governance and Risk & Controls Lead in Budapest, Hungary

Team/Role Overview

Corporate Treasury Team for UK is led by the UK Treasurer who is responsible for Liquidity, Funding, IRRBB and FTP management for the UK Group. The team is responsible for managing internal and external stakeholders including the Regulators, Businesses, FRM, Risk and other Finance and Treasury teams. The team is a good mix of professionals with diverse background, experience and knowledge.

This role for a strategic professional who has experience of working in a Treasury function at a major bank.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee and coordinate the production of key UK Governance materials for UK Treasury including UK ALCO

  • Coordinate and manage key risk and control procedures and processes on behalf of UK Treasury team

  • Analyse the impact of new regulations to our Markets business.

  • Partner with Finance Desks, Operations, Tech and other teams across Citi to execute on key deliverables.

  • Act as a liaison to the first and second line of defence, and interface with senior managers of Treasury for various Treasury aspects

  • Prepare materials for and participating in regulatory reviews like L-SREP and ILAAP

  • Independently handle ad hoc analysis requests from management and businesses

What we’ll need from you

  • 8+ years of experience in the Treasury function

  • University degree in Finance/Maths/Economics

  • Strong Risk and Control background

  • Fluent English language skills

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Project Management experience in a dynamic and highly technical environment is a plus
