As Account to Report Lease Accounting SME within our Account to Report team, you’ll deliver lease accounting (IFRS16) services to Sanofi Business Operations globally.

The team works closely with Finance (Controlling, Internal Control), Car Fleet Admin, Facility/Real Estate Management, A2R teams in regions / countries and lessor companies.

Main responsibilities

• Work with Finance Business Partners, car fleet administrators, real estate teams and other stakeholders globally to gather the required information for lease accounting

• Ensure the completeness and correctness of lease database (NAKISA)

• Make changes in the lease database to reflect the correct accounting for lease changes and validate the impact of these changes

• Prepare monthly reconciliations of the database and our general ledger, roll-forward of Right of Use and Finance Liability accounts

• Provide information to our internal and external auditors for leases

About you

Experience

• Good and proven experience in IFRS16 lease accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment

• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs

• Expertise in Lease Accounting activities

Soft and technical skills

• Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner

• Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with A2R front line teams with an end-to-end mindset

• Good communication skills

• Attentive to customer needs and feedback

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel

• Hands on knowledge of SAP FICO and other accounting applications

• Working knowledge of NAKISA (Lease database tool) is advantage

Education

• Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance

Languages

• Fluent in English. Knowledge of any other European languages is desirable
