About the job
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The role requires an individual, who is capable to work autonomously and proactively and also
works well as a team player. Builds effective working relationships with GFS teams and its
stakeholders in Sanofi’s Global Business Units (GBUs) and Global Support Functions (GSFs), as well as external partners where applicable
Prepare and/or complete, review the relevant SOX control documentations of A2R business area
Perfom quality checks on SOX documentations of A2R,investigate and follow up findings
Create / update and keep track of the Control Implementation reports,risk assesments based on the requirements and also on ad hoc basis
Create awareness,documentations and provide regular trainigs of the Internal control requirements for captive teams and for the retained stakeholders if required
Coordinate and perform internal control risk assesments where key risks are identified
Support the SOX (Sarbanes -Oxley Act 2002 ) design implementation
Drive the proper root cause analysis of findings, help creating sustainable action plans and coordinate the implementation and monitoring
Identify and mitigate potential risks by design : ensure that actual processes and controls are adequately described in local procedures, and standardized between countries also perform regular samplings of the DTPs where SOX controls are applicable
Interface between process owner and the auditors to support in providing the required documentation for the internal and external auditor testings
Navigate the escalation processes for the SOX countries
Support the acurate root cause analysis of audit findings, helping the delivery teams with creating efficient action plans,implementation and quality monitoring
Review and validate the supporting documents and support any automation projects
Participate in IC control standardization/optimization projects
Mediate between functional teams and Internal Control team to provide the required documentations for testing
Account to report SOX Specialist reports directly to the A2R Head Budapest and works closely with A2R functional teams, GPLS and GPOs ,Internal Control team, Global External Auditor team, other SBS departments and A2R teams in regions / countries
About you
Functional
Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs
Solid understanding of the end-to-end A2R processes
Knowledge of GL accounting
Strong Technical Accounting skills
Good business acumen
Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills
Technical
Solid knowledge of SAP and any other accounting applications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong skills of MS Excel
Experience in creating reports, presentations and memorandums
Interpersonal
Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with A2R front line teams with an end to end mindset
Excellent communication skills
Attentive to customer needs and feedback
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate degree in accounting or finance
3-5 years work experience in finance area in international multicultural environment
Internal Control / SOX experience is a must
Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is desirable
