When renting a room close to the office, the intern receives €650/month. To receive the latter, the daily commute between the office and their “usual” place of residence must be at least 50 km or take more than 1,5 hours by public transportation.

  • Interns are expected to perform their internship from one of the Philips offices in Belgium. In case interns occasionally work from home, they will receive the above-mentioned allowance; interns will not receive an additional home office allowance.

  • Interns who do not create added value for the organization but are f.e. purely observational will not receive an expense allowance.

  • If interns are required to travel to a location outside of the Philips offices in Belgium, they can either arrange their own transportation or rent a car through the normal channels in Philips Belgium.
