As a Senior Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination, and execution of all logistics support for learning and development events supported by Flatiron.

What you will be doing

Provides logistical support for training classes and events for local and remote locations. Coordinates training events to include rooms, instructors, students, registration sites, preparation of class and event engagement activities, such as surveys and polls and order all necessary catering, class materials, and equipment. Extensive use of Learning Management System (LMS) for scheduling, enrollment processes and completions, and report generation. Coordinates, updates, and retrieves content from online repositories. Proactively manages tasks to mitigate known and unexpected issues that could impact the timely and successful execution of an event. Provides facilitation support during live and remotely delivered classes (e.g., assist with class exercises and interactions, run virtual meetings, troubleshoot access or other technical issues for attendees and presenters). Supports the creation and maintenance of internal process documents. Collects, tracks and ensures timely process of all invoice and payment for training activities. Assists in creating content for learning and training events. Perform additional assignments per management's direction.

What we are looking for

Associate's Degree or 2-year Diploma in a related field preferred. 3+ year administrative experience required. Previous experience planning events (ideally training events) for internal and/or external customers. Experience with Learning Management Systems. Experience with Cornerstone preferred. Experience supporting classes or events in person and/or virtually. Prior experience developing or refining learning and development content preferred. Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Pro. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal business communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Experience running reports to provide status updates to customers. E.g., set correct parameters, analyze the data for accuracy, summarize data and format the report output for easy review. Ability to prioritize and self-manage work assignments to meet project deadlines and cost expectations. Excellent judgment, bias for action, commitment to excellence, customer focused, ability to work in a team environment and results oriented.
