Touro University Teaching Assistant in Brooklyn, New York
Overview
Provide additional support to students in Introductory and Advanced Computer Science courses and assists the instructors in grading assignments. Review programming techniques with individuals or small groups of students.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Hold (weekly) one-hour group sessions to review programming concepts.
Grade homework assignments.
Have a regularly scheduled (one hour a week) availablity for the students to have individual short tutoring sessions (total hours per week not to exceed 5)
Qualifications
Experience
Completed Advanced Programing courses
Skills required: Knowledge of Programming Languages
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom sessions (for interactions with the students).
Discretionary for grading assignments.
Required access to instructors' Canvas courses

USD $3,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $2,400.00/Yr.
