Compensation

Salary Range: $109,876 – $173,675 (Grade B/ 839 Hay points)

Compression Rate- $157,360

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing a safe and cost-effective working environment for MTA/NYCT employees. Manage the operation of facilities and support the bus operating departments to include Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) facilities within budget. Provide oversight of facilities maintenance operations and construction work by contractors and internal resources. Ensure that the material procurement and operating contract programs are clearly defined and implemented, and operating contract work is executed within scheduled time frames. Provide guidance and supervision for Division staff in defining and achieving operational objectives such as budget and personnel management to include employee development and resolving labor disputes. Review operations to ensure consistency with established policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

-Eight (8) years of related experience, including four (4) years in a managerial/supervisory capacity.

-Minimum one year in title as Assistant General Superintendent Facilities

Desired Skills

-Strong knowledge in planning, organizing and problem solving.

-Basic knowledge of all trade specialties.

-Knowledge of depot operations and rules, regulations and procedures.

-Must have excellent supervisory skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-In depth Knowledge of budget, personnel management, contract development and administration.

-Excellent verbal , written and interpersonal communication skills.
