Overview:

The Customer Service & Order Entry position plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and accurately processing orders. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.

  • Provide information about products, services, and order status.

  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

  • Order Processing:

  • Accurately enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.

  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of orders.

  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate any delays or issues to customers.

  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.

  • Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services.

  • Provide product recommendations and assist customers in selecting the right items for their needs.

  • Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and pricing changes.

  • Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the database.

  • Generate reports on order status, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics.

  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock checks and replenishment.

  • Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Provide feedback to management on customer trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service and order entry roles preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with order management systems/software.

  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.

Working Conditions:
