Honeywell Lead Field Service Technician in Brook Park, Ohio

As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of field service technicians, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery for fire life safety systems. Your expertise and leadership will drive the success of our field service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you will work out of our designated location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and support for fire life safety systems. You will oversee field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. Your expertise in fire life safety systems, along with your strong customer service and computer skills, will be crucial in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and support for fire life safety systems

  • Oversee field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery

  • Provide technical expertise and support for complex technical issues, both remotely and on-site

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs

  • Conduct training sessions for field service technicians and customers.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on fire life safety systems

  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in fire life safety systems.

  • Willingness to have or obtain Nicet II certification.

  • XLS3000 and Verifier tool experience.

  • Computer Skills

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks

  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.
