Element Materials Technology Office Manager in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Office Manager to efficiently carry out the administration activities in a busy site laboratory all the while coordinating with the corporate offices ensuring adherence to the administration policies of the company.
In this role you will carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Your departmental responsibilities will include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; recommending rewards and disciplinary actions.
Responsibilities
Manage administrative affairs
Work closely with Quality Manager for calibration and maintenance schedules
Face facility inspections from goverment regulatory bodies
Visit governmental offices and be responsible for submissions in line with the legal stipulations for the country
Customer service management
Customer data maintenance
Front office maintenance
Stationery stock management
Travel / transport coordination
Reporting Training new admins
Ensure facility management
Support accounts team in areas of payroll, payables, inventory Job scheduling and duty rosters
Clerical duties, filing and data maintenance
Coordination of inter laboratory transactions when required
Provide assistance to the department managers / supervisors
Ensure adherence to the company policies
Conduct periodic team meetings with specific emphasis on HSE, technical updates, etc.
Co-ordinate for periodic training for the team
Motivate the team for superior performance and be a conduit between employees needs and the company
Coordinate department employees leave with minimum effect on the operations
Skills / Qualifications
Graduate degree
3 years prior experience in a Senior Administrative Supervisor capacity with a total experience of not less than 8 years
Good command of English Language
Experience with reporting
Prior track record conducting training
