Insight Global Cloud Systems Administrator in Bristol, Connecticut
Job Description
An aerospace company is seeking a Cloud System Administrator to sit remotely on EST. The team need extra assistance so that they can get 700 servers into the cloud by the end of the year globally. They would be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and managing operations of the cloud environment. This would include major services related to integration, computing, storage, network, and security. The ideal candidate would have experience with high level application migration and installing, configuring, and managing Azure compute instances (Azure Backup, Azure storage monitor, snapshot, azure storage, Vnet, Load Balancers and RBAC.) They would be expected to scope, assemble and propose various solutions and carry them out from design to online services. The ideal candidate should be able to understand the business processes, work flows, data and application platforms that depend on the cloud services. The cloud system administrator would work at a system support level on day to day operational issues, which would include taking requests and project tasks revolving around Azure, windows server, patching tools and VM sizing.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of active hands-on experience in cloud services
2+ years' experience actively implementing cloud solutions using Azure
Experience moving workloads from on prem to the IaaS (Azure, AWS, etc)
Strong Active Directory Experience (Group Policy Administration, Replication and Deployment)
Hands on experience with Windows server-side infrastructure and other technologies on physical servers
Experience with Azure and Microsoft Server enterprise implementations
Excellent communication Experience as a team lead
Cloud vendor certifications null
