Intermountain Health Technology Analyst in Brighton, Colorado

Job Description:

Application System Technical Analyst-Consultant is responsible for providing analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation and support (technical and functional) of administrative, financial, or clinical information systems. Consultant-level professional experienced in all aspects of healthcare related information systems. Encompasses full knowledge required within the configuration, installation, design, testing, implementation and maintenance of administrative, financial, or clinical information systems. Typically designs and develops approaches that are implemented by others. Is able to function independently. Provides technical and professional guidance and leadership to peers.

  • Maintains, administers, and provides support of various systems, that includes analyzing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting PC Hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, output devices, and mobile devices for the entire organization. Provides Asset Management of both hardware and software.

  • Provides reactive problem management and proactive problem analysis. Leads resolution initiatives through planning, design, documentation, testing and implementation within areas of responsibility.

  • Works on innovation through research and development. Evaluates all hardware and software implementations to ensure compliance to established standards and specifications.

  • Serves as a technical consultant resource to other IT groups for problem resolution and teaching new technical skills. Performs a variety of project tasks.

  • Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • One (1) year Experience working in a customer support center (Help Desk) environment dealing with computer support and end user access and provisioning issues required

Preferred

  • Associates Degree in Business, Information Systems, computer science or related field preferred

  • A+ Certification and Microsoft MCDST preferred

  • Three (3) years experience in a healthcare environment preferred

  • May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
