YOUR ROLE

  • Manages PD team supporting adhesives and coatings for packaging materials with a focus on sustainability.

  • Drives development of high quality and innovative products to meet SBU strategic and financial goals.

  • Identifies new trends in packaging, adhesives, and coatings technology and invests resources appropriately to maintain leadership in the industry.

  • Develops and implements processes to ensure consistent PD, managing opportunity and risk appropriately.

  • Supports and executes IP Strategy as well as captures and defends Henkel’s intellectual property through patents.

  • Prioritizes global / regional projects, assigns and leverages resources regionally.

  • Ensures timely development, scale up and launch of products.

  • Provides technical support to Manufacturing / Quality and enables faster scale ups.

  • Supports and builds upon laboratory safety culture and best practices.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Ph.D and 5 years experience in a relevant technology or market.

  • People management and leadership experience preferred Innovation management and track record of commercial success.

  • Chemistry knowledge of polyurethanes is preferred.

  • Technology scouting experience preferred.

The salary for this role is $110,000.00 - $165,300.00 This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
