Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Engineering Intern to join our team! In this role you will work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in the field of environmental engineering. The primary goal of this internship is to develop and/or improve technical, communication, and ethical skills while supporting a variety of engineering tasks

What You'll Be Doing:

• Learn basic principles of Environmental Engineering.

• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.

• Support preparation of final design plans, reports, permits, and cost estimates.

• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.

• Complete training on assigned tasks.

• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Environmental Engineering or related Undergraduate, Masters or PhD program.

• Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.

• Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive project tasks.

• Basic proficiency with technical writing, Excel or similar spreadsheets software; and working knowledge of software packages typically associated with this discipline (e.g., Arc GIS, AutoCAD, etc.).

• Bridgewater, New Jersey office with flexibility to work remotely.

• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

• No relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.

Salary Range:

$21.88 - $38.27
