The US Vaccine Marketing and Commercial Strategy team establishes marketing strategies for the brand and portfolio to manage the P&L and tactic execution, maximizing the upside and minimizing the downside. With a mission to chase the miracles of science, there is relentless focus on understanding our customers, competition, and market trends to inform value creation solutions, pipeline decisions and leadership of best-in-class product launches.

Job Highlights

The Associate Director, Marketing will report to a senior marketing leader and work with members of the marketing team to drive the success of vaccines and products in either RSV, Flu, or the Sanofi portfolio of vaccines. In this role, the Associate Director will be responsible both for driving impactful execution of the HCP and/or Consumer campaigns, messaging, and leading the development of the integrated marketing strategy. The Associate Director will be an integral member of the marketing organization with significant collaboration with cross functional teams.

In this role, you may be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute HCP and/or Consumer branded campaigns and core claims including MLR review.

  • Lead development of sales force materials and/or consumer/patient materials for omni-channel marketing

  • Act as the main point of contact for multiple agencies to produce deliverables on strategy, within timelines, on budget, and measures outcomes across multiple channels.

  • Key point of contact with market research and analytics teams to develop research stimuli and manage project plans.

  • Lead application of key insights to recommend adjustments to strategy and/or tactical execution.

  • Coordinate key performance indicators / metrics to enable performance reporting.

  • Co-lead the development of strategic integrated marketing brand plans.

  • Track KPIs measuring impact of Field Execution, as well as HCP and/or Consumer Branded Campaigns.

  • Develop and monitor brand assumptions, forecasts, and performance.

Educational Requirements

An undergraduate degree in business or related discipline required. An advanced degree is a plus; an MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 3 years of in line brand strategy and tactical marketing experience in vaccines or specialty pharmaceuticals preferred

  • At least 2 years of Consumer DTC/patient marketing experience

  • Experience in the US Market

  • Previous launch experience preferred

  • Pediatric, adolescent or older adult experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Sales Training and Sales force engagement

  • Demonstrated experience in working with Regulatory, Legal, and Medical in a solutions -based partnership

  • Ability to both “think strategically” and manage execution details

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to negotiate, communicate, present, persuade a point of view

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment

  • Exceptional leadership skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface seamlessly with other parts of organization.

This role is based in Bridgewater, NJ with as estimate of business travel 25-30% of the time.
