Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Lift Operators for a project located in Camden, ME. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to 26/hr plus $140/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site and up to $40/hr based on experience for local workers . Job Scope:
Proper and safe operation of the 100 ton marine travel lift , 60-80 ton hydraulic Brownell trailers, and forklifts
Moving blocking, and placement of all vessels in the yard and on the waterfront
Proper and safe use of slings/shackles
Inspect vessels for damage
Complete repair work
Requirements:
Must have knowledge of preparation and application of various prep so;vents and bottom paints
Must understand the proper and necessary use of protective materials
Experience in health and safety procedures and policies
