Job Description
We are seeking a proactive General Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities include supervising engineers to ensure timely completion of guest calls, daily rounds, and projects, and acting as a point of contact between engineers and management. The role involves assisting with repairs, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and ensuring compliance with fire alarm procedures and hotel regulations. Additionally, the Supervisor will oversee property-wide mechanical maintenance, demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Engineering department, and maintain property pools as directed. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of maintenance procedures, and the ability to work in various environments, including exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.
Oversee Engineers ensuring guest calls, daily rounds, and projects are prioritized and completed.
Point of contact between engineers and the engineering management team.
Receive direction for house calls via phone or radio.
Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.
Clean all work areas after completing job.
Fill out Daily Work form.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
Maintain all mechanicals property wide.
Knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering dept.
Maintain property pools as directed by CPO.
Tools and Equipment:
Telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, hand and stationary tools as related to trade.
Working Environment:
Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
