Mondelez International Finance AG (MIF) is the corporate treasury center of Mondelēz International, responsible for the group’s cash management and FX activities, dealing with high risk, very sensitive and huge volume of financial transactions. Middle Office Controlling team is playing key role taking charge of treasury controlling, reporting and compliance activities to ensure robust Treasury governance.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Sr. Analyst Treasury Operations Global in Middle Office Controlling team is responsible to control the Treasury operations globally accordingly to Mondelez policies and SOX/operational standards. Treasury risks should be flagged timely to Treasury management team for immediate attention and remediation.

  • Execute Treasury SOX and operational controls on treasury activities, with alignment with Internal Control - there are totally 29 SOX controls must be executed daily/weekly/monthly.

  • Run KPI reports and keep Treasury leader team well informed on treasury operation performance.

  • Participate SOX testing and ensure 0 SOX deficiency

  • Key contact for internal/external auditors on MIF and MDLZ treasury audits.

  • Key contact for internal control on MIF & MDLZ SOX testing.

  • Participate Treasury global Month-End closing activities, closely collaborate with global Treasury accounting team to ensure appropriate accounting booking both in MIF and also in +300 MDLZ affiliates for FX & cash management transactions.

  • Support Manager Treasury Operations Global Middle Office team leader to answer FX derivative market compliance regulation requests.

  • Represent Middle Office controlling to participate Treasury system development and other Treasury projects, from designing, to UAT test.

  • Involve & consult in other regional treasury activities or non-treasury initiatives from treasury controlling & compliance perspective.

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in treasury including ability to understand key driver/impacts affecting cash profile such as short-term funding and investment, FX management, bank account management, compliance, accounting and reporting.

  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and basic understanding of our business and finance beyond treasury scope. Relevant experience in a large global corporation.

  • SAP experience essential.

  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including business partnering and communication skills across a large global, public company.

  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling.

  • Good knowledge & experience on Treasury process and derivative trading compliance.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Controlling or Audit in a Banking or Treasury environment in large corporation. System-savvy: SAP or other TMS equivalent.

  • Strong communication skills with internal & external stakeholders including senior management.

  • MS office - advanced.

  • English language - C1.
