General Warehouse Associate
Location: Somerville, NJ (Branchburg)
Pay Rate: $18 - $19 per hour
Our client, a unique marketing firm specializing in brand development, product launches, and customer engagement, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work in an exceptionally clean warehouse with a consistent schedule, weekends mostly off, and excellent low-cost health benefits.

Situated in Lebanon, NJ, our client employs over 50 people and provides a diverse range of services, including branding, design, experiential events, digital advertising, strategic research, branded merchandise, warehousing and fulfillment, and printing and mailing. With over three decades of industry presence, they serve an impressive clientele, featuring some of the most prominent brands in entertainment, finance, healthcare, and luxury sectors.
Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate, you'll enjoy a welcoming team-focused environment in a clean and safe setting. You will engage in various material handling tasks such as packing, stocking, shipping, and inventory management. Attention to detail is essential in all duties. Candidates should also be prepared to lift up to 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete assigned tasks and prioritize workload
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Perform order-filling and breakpack duties as required
Handle packing responsibilities as needed
Assist with inventory management
Unload trucks
Conduct basic material handling
Move and organize inventory
Sort and store inventory
Manage inventory using computer systems
Assemble kits and assist with various other warehouse projects as needed
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in packing
Minimum of 1 year in picking roles
1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving
Strong computer skills
Ability to handle a fast-paced workload
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (a plus)
Competency in reading, speaking, and writing English
Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
Ability to stand and walk for 8-9 hours a day, including frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, and climbing stairs
