Leasing and Activities Coordinator

Job Information:

  • Located in Branchburg, NJ

  • Contract-to-Permanent Opportunity

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (40 hours a week)

  • Pay-rate: $21.00/hour

  • Requires on-site work (no remote work)

  • Benefits upon becoming full time: medical, vision, dental, PTO, Holiday, etc.

    Leasing and Activities Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Answers a high volume of incoming property phone calls

  • Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents

  • Leads group events to ensure the function of the event will run smoothly. Such events may include; educational, financial literacy, birthday parties, socials, informative talks, tutoring sessions, athletic games, and other events as assigned.

  • Develops activity calendars, plans and coordinates activities and oversees the residents to ensure safety

  • Provides potential and current residents with accurate information

  • Assists in social services case management, meets one-on-one with residents to assist with linkages and application assistance

  • Maintains knowledge of community resources

  • Promotes the Company properties through various media and advertising techniques, social media, Facebook, Instagram, constant contact

  • Files paperwork pertaining to the property

  • Organizes the office and orders supplies

  • Partners with maintenance team on work orders for the residents

  • Maintains wait list, updates, send letters

  • Tours property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Leasing and Activities Coordinator Job Requirements:

  • Outgoing attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.

  • High School Diploma.

  • At least two years of related experience preferred.

  • Previous leasing experience is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong administration skills.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Creative thinking skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability required to meet changing business needs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
