Job Title: Lab Tech Ops- Bulk Manufacturing

Job Description:

Job requirements will include the ability to perform in an aseptic environment. Wear personal protective equipment, such as eye, foot, lab coat, mask, gowning coveralls under a Laminar Flow Hood.

Responsibilities

• Performs PCR production and support duties for Operations ensuring the quality of production is completed.

• Performs a variety of duties relating to production operations. Follows departmental work instructions, SOP’s, OSHA safety regulations and cGMPs to perform assigned tasks.

• Responsible for the completion of production batch records and logbooks with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).

• Monitor and oversee lab supply inventory, generate internal order requisitions, depending upon area of assignment or primary focus, may maintain departmental stock rooms, and keep laboratories stocked.

• Duties include the handling and movement of hazardous materials in an ECA environment. Depending on assignment, activities will require the use of pallet jacks, ability to lift 50lbs, and movement of large production tanks.

• Input production data and other work-output data into appropriate business systems (e.g. SAP) and maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures.

• Demonstrates ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Demonstrates competence in reading and completing charts, forms, and other documents. Ability to use personal computer with basic word-processing and spreadsheet applications. Good written and verbal communication skills highly desirable.

• Interface with internal groups to assure laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration. Reports room or equipment malfunctions to area supervisor.

• Attends required training classes and participates in on-the-job training.

• Other duties as assigned by management.
